Travel grants for students

The European Association of Methodology (https://www.eam-online.org/) is pleased to announce four travel grants to subsidize travel costs of students for participating in the 10th European Congress of Methodology (EAM2023). Each grant will consist of a maximum of 750 Euro devoted to cover travel expenses, lodging costs, and/or congress registration. The travel stipend holders need to hand in the receipts after the congress and the costs will be refunded up to a maximum of 750 Euro.

Requirement to apply for the EAM travel grants

• To be a Master or PhD student
• To have submitted an abstract to the EAM2023 (as poster, oral presentation or presentation within a symposium)
• The abstract must have been accepted
• The applicant must be the presenter (first author) of the proposal in the congress.

Application procedure

Candidates will send an email to Ana.Hernandez@uv.es stating that that they apply for one of the EAM travel grants to attend EAM2023. The email should be sent before May 31st, including the following documents:

• Short CV (max. 3 pages)
• Extended 700-word abstract describing the proposal
• An official certificate issued by their university as proof of their student status

Selection criteria

The applicants’ proposals will be assessed by the EAM executive committee considering the following criteria:

• Quality of the proposal (50%)
• Degree of methodological innovation (30%)
• CV (20%)
